I was asked to paint a motorcycle recently and it led to a couple of jobs and I am discovering that I enjoy painting auto graphics. I am seeking more jobs in this genre and I have been lucky enough to stumble upon a couple of very helpful guys who are teaching me a lot of the trade. Let's just say I am struggling for the first time a in a LONG time with my craft. I have felt like the smartest person in the room concerning my job for quite some time. I am definitely the student now and I am equally frustrated and voracious. I'm soaking up as much as possible. Most of it by trial and error. I'm looking forward to more work!
PK204STL was happy to be asked to do TEDx again in March. We made some great connections and shared the experience with some great artists and friends. This experience was really fantastic. We look forward to more TEDx in the future!!
In January PK204 did some logos and murals for our friends, @GAHFSTL
I was happy to be asked to participate in a pop up show at SOHA in October. I then turned around and did the holiday show as well. This was a huge turning point in my art career. I did my first out of state show and then a couple of gallery showings. I am working hard to keep the ball rolling.
PK204 was invited to paint live at the Missouri History Museum in December 2014. We had a blast painting in this beautiful building. Here we are deep into our work!
I did some Halloween art for our friends' party. Jimmy Hoffa Zombie and an altered thrift store painting.
Megan and I did the Chalk the Loop festival. I did a spiraling staircase.... my 12 year old companion did a giant spider.
PK204 was invited to collaborate on the Concrete Ocean anniversary mural on Shannendoah and Texas. We had a blast with our OUR brothers! A great time was had by all. My contribution was the profile to the upper right. When you stand in the right spot he has a tree afro.
We were happy to assist in painting the board ups that occurred after the damage from some of the protests.
Even before Paint for Peace.... Some friends helped me install Before I Die walls around a whole building on West flor.
My artwork has never been complete without my Dad getting to see it. Since he passed away in 2/2/2006, I have been doing work about him and eventually the image seen above is the one that makes its way into most of my work. It is at the very least, the tag on the back of my work.
