Urban Beautification Project Gen2

I had a lot of projects going on this summer so I was limited on my volunteer work.  However, I was able to bust out 3 20ft dumpster sides and one 8'x8'. Painting on the dumpsters two years ago was my gateway drug experience into mural painting.  I was hooked right away.  I love painting LARGE.

The Maya Angelou dumpster was a lot of fun.  I love her and her legacy and I was honored to paint a tribute to her and her beautiful spirit.

My artwork has never been complete without my Dad getting to see it.  Since he passed away in 2/2/2006, I have been doing work about him and eventually the image seen above is the one that makes its way into most of my work.  It is at the very least, the tag on the back of my work.
